Lake Tahoe

Cold and sunny

I drove to Lake Tahoe today because tomorrow I will work in North Tahoe High in Tahoe City, CA. It was an interesting drive. When I left San Jose it was warm and during some of the trip I had the air conditioner on. After 2 hours of my 4 hour drive it started getting cold. After 3 hours it started snowing. I got up to the lake and it was very cold and snowing, but the snow didn't stick.

 After I checked into my motel I walked down to the lake and it had stopped snowing and the sky was blue. I really liked that. I like to take pictures around here, and I have probably taken the same picture several times because I come up here often.

On the drive up here I listened to some audio books. I have been listening to the books by Sue Grafton (Alphabet mystery series).

 Since I was listening to an audio book I didn't hear the tragic news on the radio that there were explosions at the Boston Marathon. My heart goes out to the people that were hurt or the families of the ones murdered.
