I worked today from 11 - 12 then drove home. The drive home was 5.5 hours, but could have been 4 hours. I stopped often and took pictures. The sky was beautiful and the air was not too cold so it was very nice to just stop and take pictures. I also stopped to eat a couple of times! I usually eat a small quick breakfast because I like to sleep as late as I can, or stay in bed as late as I can. I often eat cereal for breakfast or just mix instant breakfast with milk. If I am on the road early I will often stop at a McDonald's and have a egg McMuffin and diet Coke for breakfast. Today I had time so I stopped and had breakfast at Denny's. I had french toast, a couple of eggs, and a large milk. It was great!! I don't like eating in a restaurant because I am usually alone and it doesn't feel comfortable. Today it didn't matter and I was happy to have a nice breakfast. I went to South Tahoe High School and it was interesting. When I went into the office I couldn't figure out who to talk to and a girl said I needed to go to the "Visitor Center". That is what she called it! She was nice and escorted me down to another building and we went in there and a lady was sitting behind a desk. Strange ... They appreciated me being there and I had a nice time in the school. On my way home I got a call from a guy that asked me to go to a school on Monday because they had specifically requested me!! It is days like this when I really like my job!!
