Heat is good!!

Today the PG&E guy came by and spent 5 minutes to start my furnace, and it works fine now!! Now I got hot water AND a warm house. Maybe you already know that because you heard me holler for joy out my window :). Anyone want a space heater, I don't need one any more.

Cows have more peace than me sometimes

Tomorrow morning I have to work at Chico High School at 8am. Chico is a 3 hour drive from my house so I have a choice, either stay the night in a motel in Chico, or start driving at 4:30am. Hmmm, what to do... If I start to drive at 4:30 then I need to wake up about 4am. Hmmm, what to do ... So, I'm staying in Chico tonight. I wanted to try out the heat in my house tonight. The worst thing about driving up tonight was I couldn't stop and take pictures since it was dark. I will finish here tomorrow at 9:30am, then drive back stopping sometimes to take pictures and sometimes to visit other schools on my way home.

I went to the gym tonight, before the PG&E guy came. I haven't been to the gym for a while, and I realize I need to keep it up if I want to keep my weight off and if I want to benefit from the calming effects of the gym. I also think I can't be sad while I'm running, I am too tired to think about problems. I have to start running more often to get ready for "race weekend" (as my oldest daughter is calling it). She and I will run a 5K race on Saturday then drive down to my mom's house and run a race near her house on Sunday. I'm excited because the race near my mom's house will start at Lover's Point and then go along the ocean. It should be pretty, I won't win any races, but sure will get some pretty pictures as I run.
