Oxford October Class

Today I started a new class in San Francisco. I like teaching in SF since the class is usually younger and more excited about going overseas. In San Jose the class is often older retired people that are looking at how to do the easiest job they can overseas. The younger students try to find a job they can do that will make a difference in the world. In my class this month there is only one student over 30 where as in the class last month there was only one student under 30.
This month there are 13 students in my class. 7 girls and 6 guys. One girl is an Au Pare from Chile, another is from Mexico who was born in the USA then went to Mexico when she was 6 and then came here after college. One girl is from New Mexico and here visiting here sister in SF, another girl has been here only 2 weeks and she came from NYC. There are 4 students that go to SF State and will graduate in one or two years. 5 of the students want to go to South America, 3 students want to go to teach in Europe and the rest of the students want to teach in Asia. One guy is a teacher and wants to take my class to learn how to teach ESL here in the States.
These students are fun and will be good teachers. I try to give them as much help as I can. I look forward to seeing these students improve their skills.
