Diet Update ... I did it!!


I am now running 2 miles every day or two, with no problems (even though I don't enjoy it and am exhausted when I finish!). I am now 182, starting at 200. I have 3 more pounds till the 20 pounds, but have reached the 15 pounds I was shooting for. I did it and I feel good. I think the best part is others making comments to me that I have lost weight. Some people that haven't seen me for a few months comment that I look better. I have lost weight in my face and my back and luckily my stomach is smaller. I want to wait till I get down to 179 to take the picture again with my daughter. The reason I really started this was a picture I took in June at my daughter's graduation and I didn't like the way I looked. My stomach looked huge and made me realize I need to loose weight. I started doing the elliptical once a day, I increased that to twice a day. I was very careful to eat breakfast every day. I tried to eat small amounts of calories every day. I learned that a good snack/meal was taking a flour tortilla and put on sliced meat and one piece of cheese. The tortilla is 50 calories, the meat is about 150, and the cheese is 50 calories. It tastes pretty good and filling. I drink some water and a lot of diet soda, Diet Dr. Pepper is great :).
