For many years, like 20 - 25 I have had problems with my feet and legs. When I was in the army we ran with boots. At that time people always said it wasn't good for our feet and would hurt us in the future. I didn't pay much attention to them, I thought they were just trying to get out of running.

After being in the army for a few years the army agreed with all the "complainers" and had everyone run in running shoes. Even when I was in the army I had problems with my legs, I had a knee brace and often had to wrap my feet. About every six months since I have been out of the army I have had problems with my feet. It often gets so bad that I can't walk. I have had to cancel meetings and appointments because my feet or legs have prevented me from going places. Since I have been running so much I haven't had problems with my legs or feet. They have felt good, except for the pain brought on from exercise.

I haven't done much exercising in the past few weeks and my feet have been hurting me much in the past few days. I realize I can't fight the problems with my legs/feet so I should keep running every day so I can keep my feet/legs healthy. I can't fight the problems I have with my body, I need to just realize the body will win by hurting unless I do the things I am supposed to do. I can't fight the pain, I just have to find a way to make it stronger.
