This morning I got up at 6:45, drove to the gym, and ran 2 miles on the treadmill. I then came home and took care of the cats and vacuumed (for the first time in 3 months)! I would love it if I could make that a "habit". I guess the secret of making it a habit is doing it again tomorrow, and forcing myself to do it the next day. No matter where I am or what I have to do I need to force myself to get up early, exercise, and then do something around the house. I need to force myself until it becomes a habit. I have made myself have habits before.

I have been able to loose weight because it had become a habit to eat half as much as I usually do and exercise twice as much as I usually do. I have been able to run 2 races a month this year because it has become habit, I have often thought of abandoning my idea of running 2 races a month. But, then I know how I would feel if I didn't run the second race. I don't know if I can do this same thing next year. I will finish this year because it has become a habit to think about it. I can do it if I really want to!!
